AI math solver that doesn't mess things up like GPT??

Here goes... I hate math. Like 100% passionately hate it
I tried using ChatGPT for some of my assignments cause I thought it'd save me time, but that backfired hard... It gave me the wrong derivative for a simple function (f(x) = 3x² + 5x) and even messed up a probability question where the total outcomes didn't even add up to 1. My professor caught it right away... embarrassing.

I've accepted that my brain isn't wired for math logic, but I still need to get through stats and calculus, right??
Has anyone found an AI math solver or website that gets things right consistently? Bonus points if it explains the steps properly too.

same here. I used a math homework solver someone suggested on TikTok once and it messed up basic algebra! Thought I was crazy until I checked with my tutor - turns out it's common. Would be nice to finally find one that works right

100% agree, GPT is NOT a math expert. same with most of those ‘built-for-everything’ LLMs. it’s way better to look for something made specifically for students and trained on math data.
my friend told me about this tool that’s (in her own words) the best math AI solver she’s tried so far. the site’s under maintenance right now because they’re adding new features, but fingers crossed it’s back soon. it’s gonna be free too, so I’m waiting for when it’s live.

tbh i started using an online ai math solver just to double check my homework and now i kinda use it like a math therapist when i see every step explained, things slowly start to click in my head. Maybe I don't hate math as much as I thought?

Tried a photo math solver app last week. It did okay with typed equations but totally messed up when I uploaded a screenshot from my online test. Kinda defeats the purpose...Anyone know a good alternative?

I tried a few of those apps too, and most gave different answers to the same question it's weird to see them mess up basic stuff, makes you wonder if any of them are tested by students before launch

yeah, I think it’s meant to cover both, regular equations and word problems too. my friend mentioned it’s more of a math AI word problem solver type of tool, so it explains how it gets to the answer.

Sooo annoying when I'm trying to visualize calculus stuff. If anyone finds one that draws accurate graphs and explains the curve, please share!

Yeah, and they're adding something extra now - experts you can reach out to if you ever question AI math results or just want a deeper explanation. It's more about getting that human check on top of the tool.

I know what you mean. I once trusted one of those graphing tools and ended up turning in a plot that looked like modern art maybe the trick is finding one that shows each step of how it built the graph, not just the final picture.

haha that sounds like a rhetorical question! but yeah, I'd like to think they'll keep improving - maybe one day they'll match how teachers explain stuff.

Btw has anyone tried using these tools on a tablet with a stylus? wondering if they read handwritten equations any better that way
