Are the Good AI review comments true?

I stumbled on this site called The Good AI and thought I’d give it a try. The premium plan is literally just $5 a month. But then I saw people posting bad takes about it.
I read one the Good AI review that mentioned the essays are generic, with weak arguments and sometimes offtopic. I don’t really have the time to fight with cringey AI drafts on top of my assignments.
Has anyone here actually used it?? Does it work okay for quick essay help?

Is the good ai legit? Honestly that's what I keep asking too. Some people say it spits out something usable if you tweak it, but others complain it just repeats fluff. I wouldn't risk it for anything longer than a 2-page essay.

I tested The Good AI for a history essay, and here’s the tea:

Pros: it’s dirt cheap, the dashboard is easy to use, and it gives you a full essay draft in under a minute.
Cons: the draft was subpar, had no citations, and I had to rewrite most of the arguments to make them sound academic.

I’d say it’s fine if you’re brainstorming or really stuck, but you won’t get a finished paper this way.

Exactly, same here. The editing part took me longer than just drafting my own intro.

Used it twice for sociology and psych papers. The upside is speed, it does give you something to work with. Also, $5 isn’t scary compared to other tools. The downside is that doesn’t always answer the prompt so you need to edit a lot before submitting

I looked at the good ai.com yesterday and honestly, it reminded me of those "essay typer" sites from high school. Fun to test, but I wouldn't depend on it for college work.

Someone mentioned studyagent.com on Reddit and I tried it - way smoother. It has writing + checking tools in the same place, so it saves time. If you're gonna spend money, maybe compare options first.
