Is Killer Papers Legit?

I have this term paper on organic chemistry I just won’t be able to finish on time on my own. I have like a week left, and I’m not even halfway done.

So, I saw this vid on TikTok promoting Killer Papers (pretty sure it was paid influencer promo, but still), so I dug around for a bit and I’ve been thinking about hiring someone to finish my draft there. But their prices are just out of this world – the first bid on my 15-page order was over A THOUSAND BUCKS!!! It also doesn’t inspire confidence that I couldn’t find their prices on the website (I literally filled out and submitted the order form to get an estimate by seeing those bids!)

I know they talk a lot about working only with native writers etc. on the website, but come on. I’m not putting in that much money without seeing some real reviews (and some guarantees) first.

So, here I am, asking: Anyone has had any experience with this service? Is Killer Papers legit? Is it worth this kind of price tag, really?

I don’t know if it’s just my experience, but I’ll sure as hell stay away from Killer Papers from now on! They had the gull to ask me to send them my student ID or passport for “verification purposes”!

After some back and forth with their customer support, they caved in and sent me the marketing case study I paid for, but that was just unbelievable.

Look, it was far from my first rodeo with these kinds of services. I’d tried three other ones before Killer Papers. NOT A SINGLE one of those tried to get my ID for “verification.”

I initially thought Killer Papers was super well recommended based on reviews online. boy was I wrong they tried to pull the same thing asking me for my passport scan or photo I canceled my order real fast, but they wouldn’t even refund me in full!!

I mean, seriously, don’t they realize how shady this kind of request is? even if they’re super duper careful with those IDs, what if they get hacked? this is a privacy nightmare – and it’s totally unnecessary to ask for an ID just to write a polisci paper!!

Good to see I’m not alone in this whole ID request stuff. (Or maybe it’s actually worse – if that’s their standard practice, what are they up to???) Long story short, they asked me for my student ID or passport after I chose the bid on my creative writing assignment.

To anyone reading this – DON’T SEND THEM YOUR ID!!! There’s no good reason to require it for providing such a service. Plus, you risk exposing your sensitive data, which could set you up for identity theft or fraud, not to mention just how big of an invasion of privacy this is.

I'm drowning in this crazy difficult programming assignment for my computer science class. It's due at the end of the week, and I'm nowhere near done. I've pulled a few all-nighters already, but I'm starting to think I might have to pull a miracle out of thin air to finish this thing on time.

I came across this website called Killer Papers that says they have experts who can basically do the assignment for me. They claim they only use native English speakers with advanced degrees and stuff, which sounds kinda impressive, but their prices are insane! I'm talking like, seriously expensive.
Anyone ever used this platform before? Is Killer Papers legit? Do you think it's worth the money, or am I just gonna get ripped off?

Another Killer Papers customer who got hit with this ID request here. (No, I didn’t send them anything, although they kept nagging me about it.) What really worried me about the idea of sending them my ID is that they could potentially blackmail me afterward. I mean, let’s face it: if my instructor found out I got my philosophy term paper from them, I’d be in a whole world of trouble, right?

TL;DR: don’t send Killer Papers (or any other service, for that matter) your ID; it could be used for blackmail or extortion.

I’m not proud of this, but I ended up caving in to this request (I blurred most information and my photo, leaving just my name visible). But in my defense, I’d already paid them $500+ and I REALLY needed that paper.

I’d advise against even following in my footsteps: the paper was SOOO not worth the money. I mean, come on, ChatGPT could generate a better paper! Sure, it was well-written in terms of grammar and punctuation and all that, but they cited not one but THREE non-peer-reviewed studies with bogus claims!

I wouldn't trust Killerpapers as far as I could throw them. Something about that site just screams “scam” to me. Asking for your passport or student ID? That's a HUGE red flag No legitimate company needs that kind of information.
I did a quick search online, and honestly, I can't find a straight answer to the question, “Is Killerpapers legit?” But with all the shady stuff they're pulling, I wouldn't risk it. There are plenty of other writing services out there that won't demand your personal information. Stick with those and stay safe!

my classmate got burned by KP a couple of months ago (they basically blackmailed him), so I knew to steer clear of them. there’s plenty of better services out there. they’re cheaper *and* they ask only for your instructions and email address

Not to nitpick, but to the OP: Killer Papers has calculators that give you an estimate on service pages (i.e. the page specifically for speech writing services). But they have no dedicated page for term writing help, and calculators are restricted only to the relevant paper type. So, yeah, I feel your pain
Anyway, re: Killer Papers price-quality ratio. My sister bought into KP’s whole quality promise, but now she’s down about $170 and her English essay is no better than what she could’ve written herself (her GPA is 3.2 FYI). Make of it what you will

It all starts really fine with Killer Papers. Like, I filled out a form much like on any other platform, started receiving bids, paid for the order. But then you get hit with this mind-boggling request for ID proof and you’re like, what the hell. And your money is already gone to the platform, so you can’t do much. The refund policy doesn’t cover your refusal to provide this info.

Don’t trust this service, seriously. Just don’t. Don’t let them lull you into a false sense of security with their marketing – they don’t really care about your privacy.

Yeah, I've heard some sketchy stuff about that Killer Papers essay service too. My roommate told me they basically tried to blackmail him after he placed an order! They threatened to report him to his university for plagiarism (can’t comprehend how such unethical platforms still exist ).
Apparently, this whole passport photo thing is how they try to intimidate people. It's totally unethical and probably illegal. Stay far away from them, man. Just do a little research and read some reviews before you choose a service to help you with your assignment.
