Quillbot alternatives that actually work?

Okay guys, I'm officially DONE with Quillbot
The free version is basically useless now. I'm trying to paraphrase sources for my research paper and it's taking FOREVER clicking through tiny chunks. Plus the premium is way too expensive for my broke student budget lol
I desperately need a free quillbot alternative that doesn't make me want to throw my laptop out the window. Something that can actually handle longer texts without hitting me with paywalls every 30 seconds

I've tried a few random ones but they either have even MORE restrictions than Quillbot or are covered in annoying ads that kill my workflow

Has anyone found something that actually works?? I have like exactly 4 papers due next week and I'm lowkey panicking. My prof is super strict about citations and I need to paraphrase all these sources properly without spending my entire weekend on it.

Help me out please!!

Feel you I switched to Paraphraser not perfect, but handles longer chunks for free. Also tried Scribbr’s free paraphraser for smaller edits, way less annoying than Quillbot. Still gotta read everything after tho... unless you want “The cat rapidly ascended the tree in an expeditious manner”

Check out Rephrase.info. If you want extra control, I also use Writefull’s Paraphraser (their academic version is surprisingly solid for complex sentences). Still needs light editing, but way smoother than Quillbot free.
