yo! anyone know any good rewriting tool that can rewrite texts without missing out on the key info?
I've been looking for smth that can help me avoid plag issues
Like, I need to write a research paper and cite all these sources but I'm not allowed to quote them word for word
And when I use a thesaurus to find synonyms or whatever, what I get is Frankenstein sentence
Don't get me wrong - I'd rewrite them myself but I figured I don't want to spend so much time on this
I'm not even sure I'll follow through with this course so I figured - why sweat over these papers I couldn't care less about, right??
Anyway, if you can point me to like, the best ai rewriting tool ever and it's !!free! you're golden!

i’ve been using quillbot’s paraphraser here and there
it’s decent, but the free version only gives you access to the standard mode and limits you to around 100 words at a time
kinda annoying if you’re working with bigger chunks or want more control
it’s fine for quick fixes, but if you rewrite often, i’d say look for something that offers more flexibility in the free plan

Has anyone here tried Editpad? I gave it a shot hoping it would help me paraphrase a few paragraphs from an article, but honestly, it mostly just swapped out a few words and didn’t really change the structure or flow in any meaningful way. I wouldn’t trust it for academic stuff where you actually need to rework the content properly. Maybe it’s okay for casual use, but definitely not what I’d call “deep” paraphrasing. Curious if anyone had a better experience with it?

Thanks for all the suggestions here, super helpful! I’ve been stuck with the same issue, trying to paraphrase cited text without messing up the meaning.
I gave Wordtune a go, but half the time it kinda misses the point or shifts the tone, so I end up rewriting everything myself anyway. Feels like I’m doubling the work instead of saving time gonna try a few of the tools mentioned here and see if anything clicks
