Okay, so I finally gave in and tried a professional cover letter writing service.
Iād been job hunting for weeks and felt like I was just copy-pasting the same boring intro every time. Even after binging YouTube tips, my letters still read like templates.
I originally saw a blog post about cover letter strategy on WritePaper, and that gave me the push to finally submit a custom request there. They mostly focus on academic stuff, but they were open to tailoring a career doc after I asked, so I figured why not.
Before that, Iād seen some chatter about SharkPapers, so I checked them out too. Their prices looked fine, but I wasnāt fully sold on their intake process (kinda surface-level tbh), so I went with WritePaper instead.
Anyway, the letter I got back felt sharp, confident, and not cringe. It hit the job postingās keywords without sounding robotic. Definitely felt more like āme,ā just⦠elevated. Ask me anything - happy to share pros/cons if you're considering it!
