How to humanize AI text: Tips from savvy users

It seems everything is about AI lately. Let’s say I know how to use AI for studies, content creation or just for fun. But so do many people - if you look at loads of AI made content on Insta or tons of cookie cutter articles online, you’ll agree with me. I figured if everyone can get the text on any topic out of AI, such content holds little to no value. What are your thoughts on this??

Also, it seems we gotta go beyond just generating content and try to add human personality every time we want to stand out, but it’s not that easy. It takes much time and effort to get AI generated texts to sound ‘human’ and pass AI content detectors. Or is it just me being not skilled enough in humanizing AI outputs??

I usually ‘feed’ AI my writing samples so that it mimics my style before it comes up with any new text, but it doesn’t always follow my instructions. And even if it does, I feel the tone and pacing still sound ‘AIish’, and ZeroGPT screams the text was generated by AI anyway

here's one way i've been doing it that actually works: i treat ai like a co-writer, not a ghostwriter
so i start by writing a rough paragraph or even just a messy voice note transcribed into text, then ask ai to build around that, not the other way around - that keeps the tone more me than robotic
also, instead of making ai guess my tone from samples, i now write a short style guide in my prompt: stuff like "i ramble a bit, i use parentheses a lot, i'm sarcastic but not rude, keep the sentence length varied" that kinda prompt works better than pasting full essays imo
and yeah, ai detectors are hit or miss, but i stopped caring about them unless i'm submitting something academic
if it sounds like me and reads well, that's a win

Ugh yes, humanizing ai texts is such a pain! I've tried that Writesonic ai humanizer and the result felt like it just reworded things slightly and called it a day. Sounded like a slightly fancier robot, not a real person.
I also tested another tool… can't remember the name, i just googled something like "make ai text human" lol and same story - what i got back still screamed ai. At this point i feel like doing it manually is still the only reliable way
